The sun in orange beyond the horizon disappeared
Just in time before night slipped away
Street lamps have already gone out, warning
Cats to hide in their lairs
For the mice have risen
The band begins to play its evening serenades
The guitarist's rhythmic drums, the drummer's vocal parades,
In the rain that bounces off the streets, rises into the clouds,
In the corner of the ceiling, a table overturned
Two pairs of gazing eyes
With intertwined hands, in the darkness
Not seeing the world's frailties
Robert Otwinowski - guitar, Greame Taylor - piano, Andy Crowdy - doublebas, Simon Price - drums
